A lot of Tongkat Ali sellers are claiming that their Tongkat Ali is of the highest quality with the so-called 1:200 extraction ratio. Those claiming to have Tongkat Ali extraction ratios of 1:100 and 1:200 are just using this as a sales gimick to confuse buyers and to give an impression that their product is better quality than others.
One company started using this several years ago and everyone else followed the erroneous claim in order to be competitive.
The ratio method is not scientific and can't be verified in the lab. Such ratios like 1:100 and 1:200 are impossible to achieve technologically. If you buy Tongkat Ali products that claim such ratios, try to send it to a lab for testing. Your lab will tell you that they can't verify such claims because there is no known standard to do it.
Even extraction companies from China where Tongkat Ali is not found are selling the purported Tongkat Ali 1:200 extract at such cheap prices that are lower than the prices we Malaysians buy the herb from our native Tongkat Ali collectors in the forest. Bare in mind that it is an offend to export raw Tongkat Ali from Malaysia. It is also a serious offend to import raw Tongkat Ali into China. You may wonder where do these Chinese companies get their raw Tongkat Ali, or are they selling genuine Tongkat Ali extract?
Our LongPower Tongkat Ali does not use such ratio because we believe in telling the truth to our customers.
Fortunately, there is a scientific way to differentiate high quality Tongkat Ali from low quality / fake Tongkat Ali extract. We can measure the percentage of the active ingredient in Tongkat Ali which is Eurycomanone in Tongkat Ali extract. This is the only criteria that is measurable and verifiable in the lab scientifically.
Malaysia is the leading Tongkat Ali producer in the world. Our government has spent a lot of money and time to do scientific research on it as it is one of the national treasures. If you notice, majority of sellers that claim 1:200 ratios are sellers from Indonesia, China and US. Interestingly, Tongkat Ali does not exist in China or US. If you are buying Tongkat Ali products from these companies, you may want to wonder where does their Tongkat Ali extract come from.
Our LongPower Tongkat Ali has 1-2% of Eurycomanone which is one of the highest in the industry for Tongkat Ali extract. We encourage you to send our LongPower Tongkat Ali to reputable labs to test for the percentage of Eurycomanone to verify it.
