Tongkat Ali Powder Vs Tongkat Ali Extract

Tongkat ali root is traditionally ground into powder and put into capsule for consumption. It is later discovered that consumption of tongkat ali powder may cause harm to liver and kidney. Recent technology has allowed the active ingredients to be extracted for consumption.

If you are buying tongkat ali products, make sure you buy tongkat ali extract instead of the powder. Typically, tongkat ali powder is not soluble.

Watch the following interview in the documenraty Flavours of Life:

Picture below shows an experiment done to see the difference between LongPower Tongkat Ali which is water soluble and tongkat ali powder which is typically not water soluble.

As you can see, the tongkat ali powder is not soluble compared to LongPower Tongkat Ali that is completely soluble.

Of course, this is only one of the criteria to see if it is tongkat ali powder or extract. You can also read the label on the packaging carefully. If the label does not mention it contains tongkat ali extract, then most likely it is a root powder.

So when you buy tongkat ali, read the label very carefully. If the product is ridiculously cheap, it is very likely that it is a tongkat ali powder or fake tongkat ali.
